In our situation, we only have 2 options:
1. the morning spot
2. the afternoon spot
Now, the morning usually comes with one hour window, which means that if we say to you that we will arrive between 7 and 8, we will arrive in that interval at you origin place. As soon as the mover jump in the truck and are ready to put your address on the GPS, the driver will give you a call and will let you know the estimated time arrival based on the GPS.
Well, if your move is scheduled in the afternoon, we usually give you between 3 to 4 hours window of arrival time. So that means that you can benefit from a window of arrival between 12 and 3 pm, or between 4 to 7 pm.
It all depends on how large your move is. Usually, if your move is larger than one bedroom, you can only get the morning spot, but let’s say that you have a 2-bedroom apartment, where everything is packed, then you may get an afternoon spot as well.
If we inform you that we will arrive between 12 to 4 pm, that doesn’t mean that we will get to your place until 12 and we will get the move done by 4. Nope. That means that somewhere in the middle between 12 to 4 pm we will arrive.
I know that often times this is not the best way of thinking about it, because you may think: “Alright, but what am I going to do? Am I going to just hang around until the movers arrive? “ and obviously I would like to simplify this for you. So, the way that it works is: as soon as our guys arrive at the morning jobs, they usually keep us updated. If we have our first job starting at 7 am, the truck arrives at the origin location and is already loaded by 9 am and by that time we will know an approximate arrival time to your place.
